Burrell Corban Journal 1 (Oct. 1850 - 1861), page 8 (corbanpapersvolume1028) Agreement entered into this day between Corban Neblett & Co. of the one part & Howell Sugg of the other part. The said Sugg agrees to work the present year for the said Corban Neblett & Co. at and about their saw mill to do any thing which may be necessary in carryon said mill and for such services when rendered we the said Corban Neblett & Co. agrees to pay the said Sugg One Hundred & eighty dollars for his services is witness our hands & sgns.
